  • Enjoy your food
  • Eat lots of different foods
  • Eat the right amount to stay a healthy weight
  • Eat plenty of foods rich in starch and fiber
  • Don’t eat too much saturated fat
  • Don’t eat sugary foods too often
  • Look after the vitamins and minerals in your foods
  • If you drink alcohol, keep within sensible limits
